Minoxidil 5% w/v Treatment of alopecia androgenetica in males

Adult males (18-65 years): Apply 1ml to the scalp when dry and spread over entire affected area. Use twice daily with 12 hour intervals between applications

Caution: Not to be used in cardiovascular disease or arrhythmias unless advised by a physician. Do not use in patients with treated or untreated hypertension or scalp abnormality, on a shaved scalp, or with occlusive dressings or other topical preparations, or in women. Discontinue use if hypotension detected, or patient experiences chest pain, tachycardia, faintness or dizziness, sudden unexplained weight gain, swollen hands or feet, or persistent redness. Wash hands throughly after applying. Flammable - contains alcohol. For external use only. Do not apply to areas of the body other than the scalp. Discontinue treatment if no improvement after one year.
