Sumatriptan 50mg Acute relief of migraine attacks, with or without aura, in cases where migraine has been previously diagnosed

Adults 18-65 : One tablet as soon as possible after the onset of migraine headache. A second tablet may be taken a minimum of 2 hours later if the patient has responded to the first dose but symptoms have recurred

Caution: No more than 2 tablets should be taken in any 24 hour period or to treat the same attack Not to be taken by patients with a history of MI, seizures, stroke or TIA, or ischaemic heart disease, coronary vasospasm, cardiac arrhythmias, peripheral vascular disease, hepatic or renal impairment, hypertension or concurrent treatment with triptans, ergotamine or ergotamine derivatives. Not for prophylactic use
