The Health Check normally takes about fifteen minutes and the pharmacist will measure your blood pressure, cholesterol and body fat levels and conduct a diabetes check.
You will be told your results immediately and given the appropriate lifestyle advice.
To be eligible for the tests you need to make sure:
- Are aged between 40 -70 years of age
- You are not already diagnosed with having high blood pressure, coronary heart or cardiovascular disease
- You have not had your blood pressure or cholesterol checked in the last 12 months by a GP or nurse
